چکیده

Acheilognathus barbatulus is distributed in Yangtze River, Yellow River and Pearl systems China. Genome data can help to understand the phylogenetic relationships of A. , but its complete mitochondrial genome has not been published. We determined structure characteristics this species constructed a comprehensive tree, based on several Rhodeus Pseudorasbora parva . The length 16726 bp. covalently closed double-stranded circular molecule containing 13 protein-coding genes, two ribosomal RNAs, 22 transfer D-loop light strand replication initiation region. base composition A (29.33%) > T (27.6%) C (26.12%) G (16.95%), showing strong AT preference anti-G bias. All PCGs have different degrees codon preference, except for cytochrome c oxidase 1, which uses GTG as start codon. use ATG stop dominated by TAG. encoded amino acids Leu Ser exist types, whereas rest are all present one type, tRNA (GCT) lacks D-arm an incomplete secondary structure, other tRNAs be folded form typical cloverleaf structure. Based PCG tandems, Maximum Likelihood Bayesian trees were constructed, concatenated sequence genera with outgroup. tonkinensis cf. macropterus clustered together most closely related. results study enrich genomic provide molecular genetic information conservation, identification evolution Acheilognathinae.

Mitochondrial genotyping of an endangered bitterling Acheilognathus typus (Cyprinidae)

Genotyping of endangered species is helpful for establishing and evaluating conservation strategies. Mitochondrial sequence data was analyzed from 541 individuals of a critically endangered fish, Acheilognathus typus from present-day range-wide localities to re-evaluate an in-progress restoration program around Lake Izunuma-Uchinuma, Miyagi, Japan. Acheilognathus typus showed low sequence diver...

Limits and phylogenetic relationships of East Asian fishes in the subfamily Oxygastrinae (Teleostei: Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae).

The cyprinid subfamily Oxygastrinae is composed of a diverse group of fishes that has been taxonomically and phylogenetically problematic. Their great variation in appearance, life histories, and trophic diversity resulted in uncertainty regarding their relationships, which led to their historical classification across many disparate subfamilies. The phylogenetic relationships of Oxygastrinae a...

Rhodeus albomarginatus, a new bitterling (Teleostei: Cyprinidae: Acheilognathinae) from China.

Rhodeus albomarginatus, new species, is described from the Lvjiang River, a tributary flowing into Poyang Lake of Yangtze River basin, in Anhui Province, China. It is distinguished from all congeneric species by unique combination of characters: branched dorsal-fin rays 10; branched anal-fin rays 10-11; longest simple rays of dorsal and anal fins strong and stiff, distally segmented; pelvic fin...

Phylogeny of finescale shiners of the genus Lythrurus (Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae) inferred from four mitochondrial genes.

We infer the phylogenetic relationships of finescale shiners of the genus Lythrurus, a group of 11 species of freshwater minnows widely distributed in eastern North America, using DNA sequences from the ND2 (1047 bp), ATPase8 and 6 (823 bp), and ND3 (421 bp) mitochondrial protein-coding genes. The topologies resulting from maximum parsimony, Bayesian, and maximum likelihood tree building method...
